Wedding Decor Hire at Mythe Barn, near Atherstone

The Wedding House provides wedding decor hire at Mythe Barn, an exclusive-use barn venue near Atherstone. It sits on a farm at Sheepy Magna, on the border of Leicestershire and Warwickshire.

We have styled weddings in the Oak Barn and the Grain Store here. One of them was Millie and Luke’s pink wedding in April 2026.

Mythe Barn already supplies a lot. Tables and wooden cross back chairs are included, and the Grain Store has its own chandeliers and ceiling drapes. So our job is to add colour and a few strong pieces that suit the oak.

We travel to Mythe Barn from our showroom in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. This page covers how we style each space, the venue’s decor rules, and how set-up works.

Ceremonies in the Oak Barn

Every Mythe Barn ceremony we have styled has been inside, in the Oak Barn. Its double-height oak frame and tall windows onto the fields make a strong backdrop for your vows.

The venue sets the chairs out with an aisle, and every one of our arches fits at the front. Millie and Luke chose our hexagon arch, draped in pink fabric with white, pink and green flowers.

Floral arrangements and candles then line the aisle. The venue only allows candles in lanterns, or floating candles, so Millie and Luke’s aisle candles were LED. See our Aisle Decor for the pieces we use.

Wedding Table Decorations in the Grain Store

The wedding breakfast is in the Grain Store, which seats up to 150. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the gardens and fields.

The venue’s chandeliers, wall lights and ceiling drapes are already in place. So we put the colour on the tables, which are normally round.

Tall centrepieces on stands suit round tables here. They add height without blocking the view across the table. Millie and Luke had our Jennie Fairy Tale Range on gold stands, with extra pink flowers added.

Our Table Centrepieces and Stands come in tall and low styles. Tealights finish the centre of each table.

Rustic Wedding Decor That Suits Mythe Barn

Our top tip for Mythe Barn is to lean into its rustic look. The oak frame, the hops and the wooden cross back chairs are part of the style. Work with them, not against them.

Colour comes in through the details. Charger Plates and Mats and coloured napkins from our Napkins and Rings range bring your scheme to every place setting. Millie and Luke chose silver beaded chargers with dusky pink napkins.

After the meal, the venue team turns the room around for the evening. Couples marrying here in 2027 have booked our Rustic Love Letters, Post Box Hire and Audio Guest Book Hire.

The Mythe Barn Package

Most of our Mythe Barn couples spend around £1,000 on their decor. Every wedding is different, and every quote is individual.

Book one of our wedding decor packages, tailored to your budget, or just the pieces you want. There is no minimum spend.

A 25% deposit secures your date. A further 50% is due six months before the wedding, and the final 25% is due 28 days before.

We get into Mythe Barn from 9am on the wedding day. The venue asks for decorations to be removed at the end of the night, so we collect everything at midnight. You don’t need to pack anything away.

Delivery is free within 20 miles of our Droitwich Spa showroom. Beyond that, there’s a travel charge depending on your venue’s location, priced on application.

Save the date with a 25% deposit to reserve your items.

Once your items are reserved, you can relax.

Step 6: Review Meeting (Optional)

Step 7: Final Plans

Six weeks before the event, finalise your decor, confirm logistics, and discuss delivery.

Step 8: Setup & Enjoy

We’ll handle the setup and collection, ensuring your decor is perfect.

Have you styled weddings at Mythe Barn before?

Yes. We have styled weddings in the Oak Barn and Grain Store, including Millie and Luke’s in April 2026.

Where is Mythe Barn?

Mythe Barn is at Sheepy Magna, about two miles from Atherstone. It sits on a farm where Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Staffordshire meet. The postcode is CV9 3PF.

Does Mythe Barn offer exclusive use?

Yes. The venue is exclusive use, so yours is the only wedding there that day.

Can we have real candles at Mythe Barn?

Only in lanterns, or as floating candles. Candles in candelabras can be lit through dinner, then are put out after the speeches. We plan our candles to fit these rules.

Is confetti allowed at Mythe Barn?

Biodegradable confetti is allowed in certain areas. Check where with the venue’s events team.

When do you set up and collect at Mythe Barn?

We get in from 9am on the wedding day. The venue asks for decorations to be removed at the end of the night, so we collect at midnight.

What chairs and tables does Mythe Barn provide?

Wooden cross back chairs and, usually, round tables. We dress the aisle chairs as standard, and can dress every chair if you prefer.
