About The Wedding House
The Wedding House is a wedding decor hire and venue styling business based in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. Since 2011, we’ve styled weddings, corporate events and celebrations across Worcestershire, the West Midlands and the Cotswolds. Today we style around 200 weddings a year.

Kate's story
The Wedding House is owned and run by Kate Wicks. Kate’s background is in retail buying. When she was made redundant, she took the chance to build a business of her own.
In Kate’s words:
“I’ve always loved bringing colours, textures and ideas together and seeing how they can transform a space. What I love most is bringing a couple’s vision to life and seeing their reaction when they walk into the room. After all these years, that’s still such a special part of the job.”

Kate works with a team who design, deliver and set up every wedding. The same owner and team also run Light Up Christmas & Events, our seasonal decorating brand.
What we do
We offer both venue styling and decor hire, not just props in a box. You can book a full styled package or hire individual items. Our own decor includes:
- Floral ranges: 14 named floral ranges, from the deep reds of the Rosie Range to the green foliage of the Ellie Range. See them all on our floral ranges page.
- Statement pieces: flower walls, light-up LOVE letters, ceiling decor and aisle styling.
- Guest favourites: a sweet cart, crisp wall, magic mirror photo booth, audio guest book and LED dance floor.
- Table and chair styling: chair covers and sashes, centrepieces and tableware.

How we work
Every booking follows the same clear steps.
- Get inspired. Browse our inspiration and gallery, or see our decor at a wedding fair.
- Book a free consultation. Meet us at our Droitwich Spa showroom or over Zoom. It’s never too early, even if your wedding is three years away.
- Reserve your items. A 25% deposit secures your date and decor.
- Finalise six weeks before. We confirm your choices, timings and delivery with you.
- We set up and collect. Our team installs everything at your venue and takes it away afterwards.

Awards and recognition
In 2024, The Wedding House won in the Wedding Decor category at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA). Over the years, our work has also been recognised with local business awards.
These days we enter fewer awards, because our focus is on the weddings themselves. Kate was recently invited to present an award at the Droitwich Spa Business Awards.
