Eastington Park Wedding Decor

Wedding Decor Hire at Eastington Park, Gloucestershire

Eastington Park is a Grade II-listed Georgian manor house set in 8 acres of gardens at Eastington, near Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, two minutes from junction 13 of the M5. The Wedding House, based in Droitwich Spa, has styled 11 weddings at Eastington Park. We have dressed the ceremony space, the Ballroom for the wedding breakfast, and the evening areas here. The Ballroom seats up to 118 for the wedding breakfast and the venue takes up to 250 guests in the evening, with 33 bedrooms on site and exclusive use from midday until 10am the following morning.
That experience matters. We know where tall centrepieces work, which pieces suit a listed house where nothing can be fixed to the walls, and how the natural light changes across the day in each space.

Styling & Décor by The Wedding House — Bringing Your Vision to Life

At The Wedding House, we love working in venues like Mill Barns, where the bones are beautiful and the storyline is yours to write. Our goal is to layer your personality, style, and preferred colour palette onto the venue in a seamless, cohesive way using our floral ranges, lighting, and curated decor pieces.

Here’s how we typically approach a Mill Barns styling:

Ceremony Styling

Arch / Statement Feature
We place a floral arch or custom structure at the focal point of the altar or front of the barn. Depending on your chosen floral range (e.g. Victoria, Nina, Jasmine, etc.), this could be lush roses, cascading foliage, pampas features, or something more whimsical.

Aisle Decor & Chair Dressing
Coordinated elements such as petals, lanterns, floral urns, plinths, or chair sashes/drapes run down the aisle, guiding guests toward your moment.

Signing Table & Accent Florals
We’ll style the signing table to match the arch, and place smaller florals on side tables, windowsills, or other ceremony focal points.

Outdoor Ceremony Options
If you choose to marry outdoors on the terrace overlooking the pond, we’ll translate the aesthetic — perhaps with freestanding urns, florals lining the aisle, petal work, or soft fabric backdrops to echo the indoor styling.

Evening Enhancements

LED White Sparkle / Starlit Dancefloor
As day turns into evening, we install a striking LED white sparkle dancefloor to bring a wow factor to your first dance and encourage guests to hit the floor.

Light-Up Letters / Illuminated Features
We offer illuminated letters (“LOVE,” your initials, or custom words) to add drama, romance, and a focal photo element in the evening.

Dynamic Lighting & Transformations
In the evening, we shift the mood using lighting — uplights, gobos, pin-spotting floral focal points — so the space evolves seamlessly from ceremony to dinner to party.

Complete Styling Package

For couples who prefer to hand over every décor detail, we offer a Complete Styling Package tailored to Mill Barns. This covers:

All ceremony décor (arch, aisle, signing table, chair & floral elements)

Welcome area signage, décor, and floral touches

Full reception styling (tables, chairs, backdrops, lighting, florals)

Evening enhancements (dancefloor, illuminated letters, ambient lighting)

Full setup, on-day styling, and takedown

Coordination with Mill Barns’ layout and flow

What Makes Eastington Park Distinctive for Wedding Decor

The architecture does a lot of the work. High ceilings, period features, a statement staircase, and formal gardens give every room a strong character before a single piece of decor is placed.
That means the brief here is different from a blank-canvas barn wedding. Decor should complement the building, not compete with it.
The staircase is one of the venue’s most photographed features. We have dressed it with white roses and gypsophila from base to top, finished with hurricane vases at the foot of the florals, which follow the curve of the bannister and let the architecture speak.
In the reception room, tall blossom trees work well given the ceiling height. We have used white blossom with olive chair drapes and olive napkins alongside glass-beaded charger plates, a combination that reads as both fresh and considered against the Georgian interior.

Wedding Table Decorations at Eastington Park

The ceiling height at Eastington Park means you can use taller Table Centrepieces and Stands without the room feeling crowded. A mix of heights, some taller arrangements, some lower florals, fills the space well and gives variety across the room.
Metallic charger plates add a layer of finish to each place setting without requiring additional spending elsewhere. Glass beaded and silver beaded options both photograph well under the venue’s lighting.
For table linens, soft neutral base cloths with a runner in your accent colour is the approach that works most consistently here. It keeps the overall look clean while still reflecting your colour scheme.
The Ballroom is the room we dress most at this venue, because it is where the wedding breakfast is served. Top table styling, arches, table decorations and centrepieces all work well in here, and so do light up letters, whether that is LOVE or individual light up names.

Colour Schemes That Work at Eastington Park

The neutral tones of the interior mean almost any colour scheme can work. Some approaches we have seen succeed well at this venue:
Classic and elegant  ivory, champagne, and light blush with gold metallic accents. This leans into the Georgian manor feel and photographs richly.
Countryside romantic  sage green, dusty blue, or warm taupe with natural wood elements. The gardens and estate surroundings reinforce this palette.
Contemporary contrast  deep emerald, charcoal, or aubergine against clean metallic copper. The contrast with the period architecture is deliberate and effective when done with restraint.

Chair Decor at Eastington Park

Chair Decor is one of the most visible elements in a wedding breakfast room. At Eastington Park, olive drapes with matching napkins created a cohesive look across a large number of tables without the room feeling heavy.
For ceremony chair decorations and aisle decor, we can dress the aisle seats with florals, ribbons, or fabric ties that match your overall scheme.

Wedding Arches and Ceremony Backdrops

Eastington Park holds its indoor ceremonies in the Morning Room, which sits just off the Ballroom, and outdoor ceremonies under the pergola in the gardens. The Morning Room can be fully dressed, from the aisle to the spot where you stand, and because it is a separate room the Ballroom can be set for your wedding breakfast while the ceremony takes place next door. Ceremony pieces can then be moved through for the rest of the day. Our Wedding Arches range includes hexagon, circular, and crescent options, each available with fabric draping and floral dressing.
Our mesh floral hoops suit this venue too, and a flower wall gives a fuller backdrop where you want one. The pergola in the grounds is also a strong backdrop option for outdoor ceremonies or photographs.
One rule worth knowing when you plan your aisle: Eastington Park asks for LED candles down the ceremony aisle, with real non drip candles in holders allowed elsewhere in the house. We can supply either.

Booking Wedding Decor Hire at Eastington Park

We do not offer a fixed Eastington Park package. Every wedding here is different, and a set package rarely reflects how couples actually want to use the space.

Prices vary depending on the scope of hire. Download our brochure for a guide to our ranges and starting prices, or book a consultation to discuss your specific requirements.
We set up on the morning of your wedding. Eastington Park gives suppliers access from 10.30am, or from 8.30am when nothing is booked at the venue the day before. We handle the collection after the event. You do not need to arrange returns.
