Curradine Barns Wedding Decor

Wedding Decor Hire at Curradine Barns, Worcestershire

Planning a Curradine Barns wedding? The Wedding House has styled over 300 weddings at this red brick barn venue in Shrawley. That is over 10 years of weddings, and we have styled two here already this October.

We are on the venue’s own list of recommended suppliers for venue styling. Our team drives over from our showroom in Droitwich Spa, a short drive away.

The spaces we dress most are the Granary Barn and the Barley Barn. We also style the entrance and the staircase up to the bridal suite. This page covers how we style each one, the venue’s rules, and our Curradine package.

Brick barn ceremony room with fairy lights and foliage at Curradine Barns

Wedding Aisle Decor in the Granary Barn

Indoor ceremonies at Curradine Barns usually take place in the Granary Barn. It has oak beams, red brick walls and fairy lights already strung across the beams.

The aisle here is quite narrow. The most common mistake we see is too much aisle decor, which makes it look crowded. A few floor arrangements and lanterns at the row ends are plenty.

Put the impact at the front instead. One of our Wedding Arches, with florals on the ceremony table, frames you both for the photos. Browse our Aisle Decor for pieces that suit a narrow aisle.

Marrying outside? We dress the Garden Gazebo with florals and draping, with flowers and lanterns down the aisle. If it rains, the ceremony moves into the Granary Barn, and our pieces move with it.

Wedding Table Decorations in the Barley Barn

The wedding breakfast is served in the Barley Barn, which seats up to 150. The venue provides cross back chairs, white linen and round tables. Trestle tables are available if you prefer long tables.

The round tables can be dressed or left bare to show the wood. Our Table Centrepieces and Stands, Charger Plates and Mats, and Napkins and Rings finish each place setting. Chair Decor adds colour to the cross back chairs.

Couples often worry the beams are too low for tall centrepieces. They are not. A mix of tall and low centrepieces works well here, but all tall works too.

The Fairy Light Wall Behind the Top Table

If you choose one thing at Curradine Barns, make it the fairy light wall. It is the most effective decor we put in this venue.

We hang strands of fairy lights down the whole back wall of the Barley Barn, behind the top table. The venue has hooks already in place, so nothing is fixed to the brick.

Without it, that wall is plain and white. With it, the whole room feels warm once the light fades. It is included in our Curradine package.

Rustic Wedding Decor That Suits Curradine Barns

The beams and brick give Curradine Barns a rustic feel, and colour works well against them. Bright colours look stunning here. Our Nina Floral Range brings bold pinks, reds and purples.

Greens and earthy tones are the other favourite with Curradine couples. For something softer, Jack and Meg chose our Poppy Range with blush accents and gypsophila. See it in our Jack and Meg real wedding at Curradine Barns.

Real candles are allowed, as long as each sits in a container taller than the flame. We choose Tealights and Candles and Lanterns in holders that meet that rule.

Welcome Signs, Staircase Florals and Evening Extras

Most Curradine couples have a statement welcome sign at the entrance. Our Bespoke Signage and Rustic Props set the tone as guests arrive.

We also dress the staircase up to the bridal suite with florals. Guests climb it all evening, as the venue’s photo booth is at the top.

For the evening, our rustic sweet cart and post box both suit the barns well. See Sweet Cart Hire and Post Box Hire. Audio Guest Book Hire is popular here too.

The Curradine Barns Package

Our Curradine Barns Wedding Decor Package

Our Curradine Barns package costs £1,200 for about 80 guests. It covers the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the entrance:

  • a ceremony arch and ceremony table flowers
  • aisle decor
  • 10 table centrepieces, with table runners and tealights
  • chair decor
  • rustic placemats
  • the full fairy light wall behind the top table
  • floral styling on the staircase
  • a welcome sign
  • a post box

Some aisle decor and the ceremony table flowers move into the Barley Barn for the reception. The Curradine team turns the Granary Barn round for the evening. Want the arch moved behind the top table? Our team comes back to move it, usually at no extra cost. Ask us when you book, as it depends on the venue’s timings on the day.

We get access from 9am on the wedding day. If nothing is booked the day before, we can sometimes set up then. We collect from 8am the next morning, and everything is cleared by 10am.

We park right by the Granary Barn door, so set-up is quick. You can see our ranges at our Droitwich Spa showroom, by appointment. More options are on our wedding decor packages page.

Curradine Barns Wedding Decor FAQs

Have you styled weddings at Curradine Barns before?

Yes. We have styled over 300 weddings at Curradine Barns over 10 years. We styled two here in October 2026 alone. We are also on the venue’s recommended supplier list.

How much does wedding decor cost at Curradine Barns?

Our Curradine Barns package is £1,200 for about 80 guests. It includes the arch, aisle decor, centrepieces, chair decor, fairy light wall, staircase florals, welcome sign and post box.

Will tall centrepieces work under the beams?

Yes. The beams are not too low for tall centrepieces. A mix of tall and low works well, but all tall works too.

What is the fairy light wall?

Strands of fairy lights hung down the whole back wall of the Barley Barn, behind the top table. It is our favourite piece at this venue, and it is part of our package.

Can we have real candles at Curradine Barns?

Yes, in a container taller than the flame. We choose lanterns and holders that meet this rule.

What chairs and tables does Curradine Barns provide?

Cross back chairs, white linen and round tables. Trestle tables are available if you want long tables. The round tables can be dressed or left bare.

How much aisle decor do we need?

Less than you might think. The Granary Barn aisle is narrow, so too many pieces look crowded. Put the impact on the arch and ceremony table instead.

What happens to an outdoor ceremony if it rains?

The ceremony moves inside to the Granary Barn. Our gazebo and aisle pieces work indoors too, so your decor still gets used.

Does our ceremony decor get reused?

Yes. Some aisle decor and the ceremony table flowers move into the Barley Barn for the reception. Our team can come back to move the arch behind the top table, usually at no extra cost.

Can we have an LED dance floor at Curradine Barns?

Yes. Our floor has gone in the Granary Barn, and the stone floor is no problem. See LED Dance Floor Hire for details.

When do you set up and collect?

We get access from 9am on the wedding day. We collect from 8am the next morning, and everything is gone by 10am. If nothing is on the day before, we can sometimes set up early.

Can we see your decor before we book?

Yes. Visit our showroom in Droitwich Spa by appointment. It is a short drive from Curradine Barns.
