Wedding Decor Hire at Stanbrook Abbey, Worcester
Planning a Stanbrook Abbey wedding? The Wedding House has styled over 25 weddings at this former Benedictine abbey in Callow End. That covers the last four years, from ceremonies in Callow Great Hall to evenings in St Anne’s Hall.
We are based in Droitwich Spa, and Stanbrook Abbey is one of the Worcestershire venues we know best. The abbey sits in 26 acres just outside Worcester, and is now run as a hotel by Hand Picked Hotels. This page covers how we style each of its wedding spaces, and the questions couples ask us most.
Wedding Aisle Decor in Callow Great Hall
Callow Great Hall is the abbey’s former church, built between 1869 and 1871 and now a Grade II listed space. It holds up to 200 guests for a ceremony. Stained glass, a tiled floor and a ceiling over ten metres high do much of the work for you. The carved pews face each other across the aisle, so your guests look in towards you.
Our advice is simple: don’t over fill it. The hall is beautiful as it is, so we frame it rather than cover it. We line the aisle floor with flowers or lanterns, which suits the long central aisle well. See our Aisle Decor for the pieces we use.
