Birtsmorton Court Wedding Decor

Wedding Decor Hire at Birtsmorton Court, Worcestershire

The Wedding House provides wedding decor hire at Birtsmorton Court, a medieval moated manor house near Malvern. We have styled over 45 weddings here, most recently in September 2026.
Our team travels to Birtsmorton from our base in Droitwich Spa. We have dressed every main space here: the church, Great Hall, The Linney, the Barn and White Garden pergola.
The venue supplies white Chiavari chairs and white linen. Most couples build on that with chair dressings, aisle decor, centrepieces and light up letters. Our job is to make those pieces suit a house this old, and work within its rules.

The Linney, Birtsmorton’s Wedding Breakfast Room

The Linney opened in 2023 and is where most Birtsmorton couples now eat. It seats up to 160 for dinner and up to 150 for a ceremony.
It is a light, open space with a canvas roof and timber beams. The canvas sides roll up on warm days. At one end, a brick bar area has large doors that open out.
Nothing can be pinned to the beams. We have still hung fairy lights and foliage from them, which suits the room well. Real candles are fine in here, as long as they sit in holders that catch the wax.
Our favourite finishing touch: a wall of fairy lights hanging behind the top table. It warms the whole room once the light drops in the evening.

Evening Decor in the Barn

The Barn has its own black and white dance floor, a DJ booth and a fairy light roof. Because of that, couples here rarely need an LED dance floor.
Instead, light up letters around the dance floor are the most popular choice at Birtsmorton. Our white wooden light up letters and rustic wood letters both suit the oak beams.
Post Box Hire for your cards and a welcome sign by the door finish the evening space.

Rustic Wedding Decor That Suits Birtsmorton Court

Most Birtsmorton couples choose a rustic style that ties in with the beams and old timber. Delicate decor and soft colours work better here than anything big and bold.
The venue supplies white Chiavari chairs and white linen, so most couples add table runners, centrepieces and Chair Decor. One sage and olive wedding here used our Kate Floral Range, with eucalyptus centrepieces and sage chair sashes. See it in our Birtsmorton Court real wedding.
Couples usually book a full package here: a ceremony arch, aisle decor, table and chair decor, and light up letters. Wedding Arches, Table Centrepieces and Stands, and Tealights and Candles are all part of that.

FAQ with styling at Birtsmorton Court

Have you worked at Birtsmorton Court before?

Yes. We have styled over 45 weddings at Birtsmorton Court, most recently in September 2026. We have dressed the church, the Great Hall, The Linney, the Barn and the White Garden pergola.

Where can we hold our ceremony at Birtsmorton Court?

In the church, the Great Hall, The Linney, the Barn or the gardens. The Great Hall seats up to 80, the Barn up to 120 and The Linney up to 150. Outside, the White Garden has a pergola licensed for civil ceremonies.

Can you decorate the church at Birtsmorton Court?

Yes, but simply. The 14th century church seats up to 115 and is strict about decoration. Small pew ends and a welcome sign at the entrance work well. Petals are not allowed.

Is confetti allowed at Birtsmorton Court?

No. Birtsmorton Court does not allow confetti, petals of any kind, or anything that leaves debris. This applies in the church and the gardens too.

Can we have real candles at Birtsmorton Court?

Yes, in some spaces. Real candles must sit in holders that catch the wax, and chandelier candles must not drip onto tables or linen. In the Great Hall and anywhere outdoors, every candle must be fully enclosed.

Can you hang decor from the beams in The Linney?

Nothing can be pinned to the beams. We have still hung fairy lights and foliage from them. A fairy light wall behind the top table is a favourite.

When do you set up and collect at Birtsmorton Court?

We set up the day before or on the morning, depending on the event. We collect everything the day after your wedding.

Do we need an LED dance floor at Birtsmorton Court?

Usually not. The Barn already has a black and white dance floor. Most couples add light up letters around it instead.

What happens to our ceremony decor if it rains?

The ceremony moves into the house or the church, or into The Linney for bigger groups. The decision can come on the day, so we plan pieces that work indoors too.

Can we see the decor before we book?

Yes. Book a visit to our Droitwich Spa showroom to see chair dressings, letters and floral ranges in person.
