Chantal and Ellis planned a joyful and colourful celebration for their wedding at the beautiful The Dodford Inn wedding decor venue in Bromsgrove. Their styling embraced a relaxed wildflower theme filled with vibrant colours, natural textures and romantic floral details that perfectly complemented the rustic charm of the barn setting.
The overall look combined bright seasonal tones with soft greenery and warm candlelight. From the ceremony through to the reception tables, every element felt vibrant, welcoming and effortlessly elegant. The colourful florals added personality and energy to the space while still allowing the character of the venue to shine through.
The result was a wedding that felt beautifully personal, relaxed and full of joyful colour.
Chantal and Ellis chose a stunning ceremony focal point using one of our Wedding Arches. Our Fairy Tale Arch was styled with bright flowers inspired by a colourful wildflower palette.
The floral arrangement blended rich reds, warm oranges, soft pinks, lilacs and creamy whites layered with natural greenery. This combination created a full and romantic floral display that brought warmth and colour into the ceremony space.
Positioned in front of the venue’s large windows, the arch framed the ceremony beautifully while still allowing the countryside views to remain visible. The flowers created depth, texture and colour, making the ceremony setting feel both intimate and visually striking.
After the ceremony, the arch and floral arrangements were moved into the reception space. This allowed the ceremony styling to continue as part of the celebration later in the day, creating a cohesive look throughout the wedding.
For the reception, the couple continued their colourful wildflower theme with relaxed table styling inspired by our floral Nina Range.
Each guest table featured rustic log slices layered with delicate bud vases filled with colourful flowers. These arrangements gave the tables a light, natural appearance while still adding vibrant colour throughout the room.
